We Are Expanding - New Cocktail Lounge & More!

McClintock is turning three and we have several new projects that we are excited to share with all of you!  It has truly been an honor to showcase Maryland spirits around the country and we couldn’t of done it without  all of your support along the way.

McClintock is turning three and we have several new projects that we are excited to share with all of you!   We are incredibly grateful for the support all of you have given us along the way and we can’t thank you enough for sharing our spirits and message with so many of your friends and family.  It truly has been an honor to represent Maryland spirits across the country and we owe so much of our success to our guests.  Here are a few exciting projects that we have coming down the pipeline!

The McClintock Cocktail Lounge

We have officially started the renovation process to turn a historic ice house into a brand new cocktail lounge. The new cocktail lounge will be located in the building next to the distillery on South Carroll Street. Our goal is to create an intimate cocktail experience with a focus on organic and local ingredients. The lounge will showcase innovative and clean cocktails that highlight the spirits we create and are simple enough to be made at home. With expanded hours, our spirits will be more accessible than ever!


We also are always striving to make your experiences better at our distillery, and we completely understand how frustrating it is when you come to the distillery and we are closed for a private event. With this space, you can rest assured that no matter what is going on at the distillery we can accommodate you for tastings and hand-made cocktails. We appreciate your patience while we build this out look forward to mixing your favorite cocktail later this year!

The McClintock Rickhouse

Last month we also signed the lease on our first off-site rickhouse! A rickhouse is typically a building specially made to house and age whiskeys. Our goal this year is to fill a few hundred barrels of our award-winning bourbon and rye, which we will use our new rickhouse to store. With the new rickhouse we will be able to age more whiskey than ever before. We are proud to keep all of our spirits aging in Frederick and will continue to deliver the highest quality Rye and Straight Bourbon. We are hoping the additional storage means we will meet your demand for Bootjack and Matchstick whiskeys. Check back for an announcement soon on the next release date for both whiskies.

Third Annual Pig Roast

It is back again! To celebrate our two and a half year anniversary and as a small thank you to all of our regular guests we are offering free pulled pork from our free-range, organic whiskey mash-fed hog prepared by the grill masters at PIGS BBQ. We will have live bluegrass music, mixed samples and awesome vendors all day so come early and come hungry!

We are so thankful for our amazing city, our partners across the state, and especially for all of you. Without your support of our distillery we wouldn’t be able to continue to grow and expand our business. When we started this distillery we had no idea how Maryland’s first organic-certified distillery would do and we are beyond grateful of each and every one of you. We hope we can continue to bring you hand-made spirits for years to come and we will see you all soon!
