Four Course Summer Paired Dinner

If you missed our inaugural Inventor’s Club dinner last week, no worries! We have four simple cocktails that are easy to make and great to pair with fresh summer ingredients for your next dinner party. We have included some recommended paired dishes with each course. Special thanks to Chef Minda Metz of Love and Dishes Catering for the inspiring dishes that led to these cocktail creations!

Welcome Cocktais

McClintock Grey

  • 1.5 oz Epiphany Vodka

  • .5 oz Element Ginger Lime Shrub

  • 3 oz Early Grey Tea

  • Squeeze of Lemon Juice

  • Served in highball glass over ice with a mint sprig garnish

Frederick Crush

  • 1.5 oz Epiphany Vodka

  • .5 oz Blood Orange Saffron Cordial

  • 3 oz Orange Juice

  • Served in highball glass over ice with orange slice garnish

Paired with: Light appetizers and finger foods

  • Beef Tenderloin Crustini

  • Deviled Eggs Topped with Lobster

  • Maryland Shrimp and Grits Bites

  • Gruyere Cheese Flatbread Topped with Mushrooms and Onions

First Course

Garden Gin Fizz

  • 1.5 oz Gardeners Gin

  • .5 oz Element Blueberry Rosemary Shrub

  • 3 oz Soda Water

  • Served in rocks glass with lemon slice garnish

Paired with: Light salad, fresh fruit or assortment of breads

  • Summer salad with balsamic dressing served with bourbon soaked peaches, braised pork belly and bayley hazen blue cheese


Second Course

Summer Stinger

  • 2 oz Forager Gin

  • 1 oz Green Chartreuse

  • 2 Drops Modern Barcart Tiki Bitters

  • Spash of Club Soda

Paired With: Freshwater or bay fish, lighter seafood dishes, roasted chicken

  • Pan seared, wild caught rockfish with a lump crab and lemon vinaigrette. Served with Gouda stuffed Yukon gold potatoes and roasted veggies

Desert

Bootjack Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz Bootjack Rye Whiskey

  • .25 oz Rosemary Infused Simple Syrup

  • 2 Drops Modern Barcart Liquid Gold Bitters

  • Served in rocks glass an garnished with orange peel

Paired With: Chocolate, pies, puddings and cakes

  • Smith Island Cake

  • Strawberry Cheescake

  • Carrot Cake

  • S’more Bites

  • Caramel Popcorn
